About Us
We have been German Shepherd Dog devotees for over 30 years. It has only been in recent years that we have begun a breeding program.
A family operation, Vom Garringer dogs are an integral part of the household. We breed only German Blood Lines and produce one or two litters a year. Puppies are whelped in our home's "puppy" room and they spend the first ten weeks of their lives in the house and romping around our 25 acres before they go to their new homes.
Vom Garringer puppies are vet checked, wormed, and inoculated before they start life in their new home. They also receive some basic positive reinforcement training as well as crate training.
We train our personal dogs to be service dogs but our puppies are terrific as family companions, show dogs, and Schutzhund candidates.

Many people have asked about our name "Vom Garringer."
Garringer (German for bell-ringer) is Kay's Maiden name.
